Patience over Persistence

If the dog chooses the desired behavior and you can reward for it, training will happen faster and wanted behaviors will develop quicker. Being patient also allows you to control your body language and energy. Dogs watch you more than listen to you, so keeping yourself even is important to communicating effectively.
