How Dogs Learn

In this course we will be going over How Dogs Learn with Operant Conditioning and Classic Conditioning.

Operant Conditioning - In these lessons we will be going over How Dogs Learn using Positive & Negative Reinforcement.

Classical Conditioning - In these lessons we will be diving into Classical Conditioning.

Calm Canines 1

Dogs normally never reach a calm state of mind without our help, as their normal reactions to something new are fight, flight, and avoidance.

We help teach calm and focus through basic obedience work, proper leash walking skills, and impulse control. The benefits of teaching your dog to be calm are tremendous, from lessening destructive tendencies and easing anxiety, to learning new ways to focus your dog’s energy into productive and fun training sessions and outings.

Calm Canines 2

Building upon the training in CC1, we continue to add challenges to create even better impulse control and deepen your bond with your dog!

Throughout this class we will be focusing on continuing to develop communication with your pup. We will be taking the skills that you have already learned in CC1 and strengthening them with distance, duration and distraction.

Puppy Training Series

This course covers manners such as biting, nipping, and jumping, how to teach your puppy to focus and stay calm no matter what’s going on around him, how to build his confidence and why that’s important, the process of crate training, how to prepare your puppy for veterinarian and groomer trips, and so much more!

Basic Obedience

In this course, you will learn how to teach your dog basic obedience commands, such as “Sit”, “Stay”, “Leave it”, “Rollover” and “Fetch”.

Basic obedience training will not only teach your dog to behave, but it will also keep them safe.

The love and joy dogs bring into our lives is immense. Dog owners enjoy unconditional love from their canine companions. But problems like sneaking food, barking, running off in a dog park, and getting into dangerous situations and items, can happen as dogs adjust to their environments.

Advanced Obedience

In this Advanced Obedience Training Course, you will learn how to teach your dog or puppy more advanced obedience techniques, such as “Focus Sit”, “Stay with Distractions”, “Down Stay” “Advanced Leave It”, “Leave It with Toys”, and a “Distance Lay Down”.

Loose Leash Walking

Many dogs pull when on a leash, which makes walking both unpleasant, dangerous, and harmful for both the dog and their owner.

This course will familiarize you with the techniques and exercises needed to train a dog to walk politely on a loose leash.

Recall Training

Most dogs love running around off the lead, but before you give your dog their ‘freedom’ it’s vital for their safety that you know they will come back when called.



A good recall from your dog doesn't happen overnight — a reliable recall is taught in steps. Having a reliable recall for your dog can save their life!

This class is designed to set a foundation for off-leash recall. Throughout this class, we will be challenging your dog to recall through a variety of situations.

Muzzle Conditioning

A muzzle can be very useful in situations where you’re 99.9 percent sure your dog is going to do okay, but you’d like to be 100% SURE.

Not only does wearing a muzzle prevent that tiny 0.1 percent chance of an “Oops,” but it also helps you relax (remember, your stress levels can cause your dog to be on high alert as well!)

Resource Guarding

Resource guarding describes a wide range of undesirable behaviors that occur frequently with some dogs.
